The Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD) is an exciting and rewarding place to learn and teach in "bush" Alaska. LKSD is the largest rural school district in Alaska with 28 schools, 400 teachers, and about 4,000 Yup'ik students.

Student Recital #5
Students perform a piece or pieces of their choice on their instrument as a requirement of their program. Join us in Reynolds Recital Hall on Friday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m. for the fifth and final student recital of the '24-'25 school year.
Engineering Technology Senior Project Presentations
It's senior project time in the Engineering Technology Department. Seniors in both the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Programs will be presenting their capstone projects. From an automated plant irrigation system to an assisted kayak loader, there will be lots to see! Come out and support our students!

Marquette Choral Society Concert 1
The Marquette Choral Society will be at Reynolds Recital Hall at the end of April. They will be performing two concerts, the first being Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. and the second being Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m.Admission is $12 General Admission and Free for NMU Students and Youth (18+under).

Medicinal Plant Chemistry Symposium
Join medicinal plant chemistry seniors for the final presentation of their capstone projects! Twenty-four students are slated to present throughout the day in Northern Michigan University's Mead Auditorium. Scheduled presentations will be five to ten minutes in length.
