Dr. Luke Busta will be visiting NMU from the University of Minnesota Duluth where he is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

In addition to presenting his medicinal plant chemistry seminar, he will be meeting with students and faculty to discuss his research and the graduate program opportunities that UMD has to offer.

Join us as Author & Outdoor Leader, Jeannette Stawski shares her experiences leading in the outdoor industry.

Monday, February 17 from 11am- 12pm in the Superior Dome - Room BI 101.

Jeannette Stawski serves as the Executive Director for the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE) and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a Certified Executive Coach. She is the University of Michigan Recreational Sports Senior Assistant Director - Sustainability and Adventure Leadership and has worked as a professional outdoor guide, a wilderness medicine instructor, and NOLS instructor. She is currently the chair of the Coalition for Outdoor Access (COA) and lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband and their two children. Find her online at www.leadingvaliantly.com
