Get ready to have fun while learning how to budget! The Northern Money Games are happening on Friday, February 7th from 6 PM to 8 PM in McClintock 106! This interactive team-based game puts you in control of a budget as you and your team aim for the highest Net Worth, Credit Score, and Quality of Life. You'll need to bring your laptop to play.

The Virtual Biology Career Fair offers companies and organizations an opportunity to connect with students, showcasing opportunities in biology-related jobs, internships, and career paths. Areas of focus include sustainable energy, government environmental and health roles, healthcare technology, scientific data management, natural resources, ecotourism, and more. This event is free for employers, students, and alumni to attend.

The Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD) is an exciting and rewarding place to learn and teach in "bush" Alaska. LKSD is the largest rural school district in Alaska with 28 schools, 400 teachers, and about 4,000 Yup'ik students. The landmass of the District is about the size of West Virginia spreading along the Kuskokwim River and Bering Coast of southwest Alaska. Travel is by jet from Anchorage, and then by small plane, snowmobile or boat from Bethel to the village sites.

LKSD supports instructional staff with a robust professional development program differentiated from whole group to 
individually selected courses. There is a teacher mentor program that includes orientation to the local culture and learning about our curriculum.

LKSD is looking for teachers in the following areas for the 2024-2025 year:
