Following the Saturday performance at Kaufman Auditorium, Marquette Symphony Orchestra Guest Artist and Pianist, Jeffrey Biegel, will perform and discuss works of Chopin and Grieg in this "Informance". There will be a light reception to follow!
Join the NMU Percussion Ensemble on Saturday, November 8th at 3:00 PM in Reynolds Recital Hall! These concerts are always exciting and feature solos from the Percussion Majors at NMU!
Join us in a new location for the first NMU Choral Concert of the fall semester! This concert will feature sacred choral works with the Arts Chorale, University Choir and Professor Patrick Booth, saxophone.
Sacred music offers a great educational experience about the history of choral music for our students and community. We will see you at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Marquette at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 26. Admission is free and welcome to all!

Saturday, October 26 at 4:00 p.m., senior Secondary Music Education major Nicholas Wegrzyn will be celebrating his academic and musical career with a presentation on the life, achievements, and influence of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. Following the presentation, Nick will be performing a piece by Villa-Lobos on saxophone.
This concert is free for everyone!
The NMU Jazz Ensembles will present their second concert of the fall season on December 4th at 7:30 PM in Reynolds Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

Join us in Reynolds Recital Hall on Tuesday, December 5 for NMU Choirs' final concert of the semester. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The NMU Orchestra is open for auditions (via video submission) and registration through January 14th! Please contact Dr. Rhyneer at brhyneer@nmu.edu or (906) 227-2309 for more information. The NMU Orchestra is open to all members of the NMU and Marquette community, and consists of violin, viola, cello, bass, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
